Kellie McDermott (she/her) is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at the University of Pennsylvania's Fels Institute of Government. She currently works at the Thalheimer Center for Cardio-Oncology at the Perelman School of Medicine, supporting daily operations, research, and events. Previously, she was a Teach for America teacher in Camden, NJ where she taught 5th grade math. As a Philadelphia native, Kellie is dedicated to working towards positive changes in the city through service, collaboration, and community engagement. In her free time you can find Kellie walking around the city looking for the best coffee and sweet treats, cooking, or with a good book!
